Paint Calculator
The paint for a room's walls (and ceiling), less doors and windows, for the coats you will apply.

How it's calculated
Walls = 2 × (length + width) × height Area = walls − doors − windows (+ ceiling) Paint = area × coats ÷ coverage
Estimates the paint for a rectangular room from its size, the doors and windows you will not paint, and the coats you plan. Coverage is on the tin and varies by product and surface; round up to whole tins. Trim, doors and ceilings are often a different paint, so work them out separately.
