Unit Rate Calculator
Compare two pack sizes by price per unit to see which is the better buy.

How it's calculated
Unit rate = price ÷ quantity Saving = (higher rate − lower rate) ÷ higher rate
The unit rate is the price of one unit (a gram, a millilitre, a sheet), which makes different pack sizes comparable. Enter both quantities in the same unit. A bigger pack is not always cheaper per unit, which is why shelf labels show this number.
